DESCRIPTION:Contemporary Fusion with Simone Sistarelli\nLaban Studio 8\nClass Description\nWith a somatic approach to hip-hop techniques\, this class will make you feel grounded and energised. \nThe perfect balance of contemporary dance (Release\, Flying Low\, Contact Improv) and street dance (Popping\, Locking\, Breaking) techniques will make you feel invigorated and explorative. \nFlow\, musicality\, playfulness and surprise are key elements of the class. \nExpect partner work\, improv\, drills and routines! \nBio\nSimone is a dance artist\, musician\, social entrepreneur\, author and public speaker. \nHe taught for many companies and institutions including NSCD\, LCDS\, New Adventures\, Rambert\, DanceWest and many more. \nTwice TEDx Speaker. \nAwarded in the Universal Hip Hop Museum Hall of Fame for the contribution to Hip Hop Culture. \nFounder of Popping for Parkinson’s\, a project that transforms Parkinson’s patients into Popping dance students. \nBA in Contemporary Dance from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance. \nMSc in Dance Psychology from the University of Hertfordshire.
