DESCRIPTION:Tango Class with Raquelle Tango\nLaban Studio 9\nClass Description\nJoin Raquele for an exiting and energetic tango class for all levels of experience this class aims to bring some well earned joy back into moving together. An energy filled class with a pro in her field\, it’s one you can’t miss. \nOur last class of the year!!! \nBe there of be square! \nBio\nRaquel started dancing when she was 6 years old. 12 years of ballet and contemporary were the foundation for all that followed. In 1991 she started Latin and ballroom studies\, received the IDTA diploma (international dance teachers association) and competed in international dance competitions such as the prestigious Blackpool congress in England. In 1998 she discovered and was swept away by the Argentine tango. \nHer personal style is the outcome of fusion between traditional tango and modern tendencies\, having studied worked and danced with old age milongueros\, great masters of the traditional style and the leaders of “new age” tango. \nElegance\, grace\, musicality and aesthetics within the embrace – the soul of tango\, are her guidelines.. Her teaching experience extends over 20 years first in ballroom and Latin American dances than Argentine Tango. \nIn 2012 she moved to London\, her new base\, where she is teaching performing and from where she travels the world to spread her art. She has won the Latin UK awards for best Tango teacher an has performed at the queen Elisabeth hall\, Royal festival hall\, The olympic games\, Regent’s street festival\, Blackpool Tower Ballroom and in many other events and stages in London and all over UK. She has established the most exquisite Tango Academy in London where top of the line guest artists are frequently teaching master classes and perform. She organises La Divina Milonga and successful Tango holidays and travels yearly.
