SUMMARY:Dance Class - Attila Andrasi
DESCRIPTION:Elegant Rhythm with Attila Andrasi\nLaban Studio 10\nClass Description\nThe class explores the concept of virtuosity and the sensation of fluidity\, drawing inspiration from Hungarian and Balkan traditional folk dance movement patterns and rhythms. The main objective is to help participants achieve a hyper-performative momentum and gain experience from the ecstatic and recessive state. It also encourages experimenting with a dignified\, elegant posture while in motion\, within the context of decorative abstraction. Participants will learn movement combinations through improvisation scores and short phrases. \nBio\nAttila Andrasi is a graduate of the Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance and will be holding an MFA in Choreography degree from Trinity Laban after graduating in December 2023. He is a dancer\, clown\, movement\, and choreography researcher. His work has been performed at various dance festivals including Sismomgraf Dance Festival\, Festival 10 Sentidos\, and Resolution Festival. Attila has participated in creative residencies at Roca Umbert de la Arts\, Teatre Municipal de Lloret de Mar\, Theatre L’ateneu De Carla\, the Desembre en Dansa Festival\, and lately at Lake Studio Berlin. He has conducted workshops at Choreolab Festival\, Tate Modern\, Trinity Laban\, Kinetic Dance Space\, and Rambert. In addition\, Attila has received support from the Hungarian National Dance Theatre\, the Hungarian Ministry of Human Resources\, and Arts Council England. Recently\, he created an experimental clown and dance solo titled Rainbow. In the coming months\, he will be facilitating movement and performance research workshops at Tanzfabric in Berlin\, MAAT Dance in Cairo\, Pro Dance in Oxford\, and TripsSpace in London.

SUMMARY:Dance Class - Tuva W Berglund
DESCRIPTION:Creating invisible libraries with Tuva W Berglund\nLaban Studio 10\nClass Description\nDrawing from research and experiences from her independent research project\, the workshop will offer a glimpse into the creative possibilities which lies within our memories. Through remembering\, repeating\, and accumulating\, the workshop aims to help the participants connect with their own memories of movement and unlock paths to creation. We will work with a set of tasks\, and together create new memories to draw upon in the future. \nBio\nTuva is a dancer and movement maker from Norway who recently graduated from Trinity Laban with a first class degree in contemporary dance. She works with the movements that come from within\, as she believes our personal way to move is another form of communicating with the world. Tuva loves investigating the parts of life which might be difficult to describe in words\, and use dance and moving as a creative outlet. She puts great value in process\, and actively use time and repetition her my creations.
