Freshers 2022!

Freshers 2022! Come and join us for two weeks of parties and events to start off the new year at Trinity Laban right. From our classic Ramp it Up party featuring The Amalgam to our sensational Boat Party (now with a theme!) and other events like a book exchange and IKEA trip. So come along for the ride and meet a tonne of people and get to know the area along the way!

We'll be waiting for you to arrive at McMillan with all your goodie bags, T-Shirts and wristbands ready to collect. Come say hello to us and ask us ALL the questions!

Ramp it UP!

Sunday 11th Sept from 4pm

It’s your first freshers Event! So come along to Laban (only a 5 min walk from McMillian!) grab a drink, listen to some live music, get to know your other course mates! This event will be featuring a Trinity Laban favourite, The Amalgam! Come along and listen to some amazing music played by some of your fellow TL students!

Quiz Night

Monday 12th Sept from 7pm

Got what it takes to win? Spend the evening at your new local watering hole, The Bar Downstairs. Trinity Laban's own Student Only Bar. This evening we will spend the night competing in the yearly freshers quiz. Plus, The Bar will be staying open later than usual!

Tuesday 13th Sept from 9am-4pm

Come and meet local companies, pick up freebies, join a society and meet the SU team! It's always a busy and fun day on the Ramp!

Masquerade Boat Party

Wednesday 14th Sept. Pizza Party at 6pm. Boarding at 7pm. Home by midnight

It's Dress to Impress and bring your fancy mask for this years Boat Party. Join us for a cruise on the Thames with an incredible live band! Bring your ID for entry. Remember to join us for a Pizza Party beforehand too!

Speed Mates

Thursday14th Sept. 12:00-14:00

Speed Mates,. like Speed Dates but different. Join us at Triangle Café Bar at Harmony Place next to Laban for a coffee, a meal deal or a treat. A quick fire round of random questions that you might not have thought of asking, and a chance to meet people you might not have met otherwise.

International Student Picnic

Friday 16th Sept 3.30pm-5.30pm

Student Services are hosting an international student picnic. We’ll have free food and drinks (sandwiches, scones, tea & coffee and more). There will be games, a chance to meet the students services team and a special fun surprise! (from 16:30 onwards EVERYONE is welcome!)

Salsa Night!

Friday 16th Sept 7pm-10pm

Time to bring out your best dance moves with our Salsa night! Join us for an evening of amazing music performed by your fellow TL Students and learn some new moves from our professional Latin Teacher! You don't have to have experience for this event. Just come along and get involved! The Bar will be open late! This event is themed.

Book Exchange

Got some books you want to swap or just want a more relaxed day? This could be the event for you! Come and hang out at the Cottages at Laban and exchange and discuss books and have some Coffee, Tea and Biscuits.

LGBTQ+ Drag Night

Saturday 17th Sept from 8pm

We’ve got a night of fabulous drag acts for you to watch perform and a late bar. What could be better? Don't forget your glitter!

Monday 19th Sept 1pm

Join you VP of Event Niamh for a fun filled day round the local pubs of Greenwich. Meet at KCC and then see where the day takes you. This is a themed event.

Silent Disco

Tuesday 20th Sept from 7pm-10pm

Laban has and will always be the home of our Silent Disco. Come along and pop on some headphones and dance the night away. Don't like the song? Take off your headphones. Is it themed? Keep your eye out for some clues.

Round off Freshers with a club night at Badger Badger in Deptford. They've even made a speciality cocktail for us! Capacity is limited so get there quick. This event is themed.
