26/09/22 – Elegant Rhythm Workshop – Attila Andrasi

Monday 26th September – 7-8:30pm – Studio 2 Laban

Attila is a Hungarian interdisciplinary dance and performance maker based in London. As a dancer and performer, he works with a playful mindset and curiosity to manipulate the body-mind notion. He created many different movement approach methodologies, like the Perceptive ball, a somatic (performance) practice-based movement approach built up from the emotional and physical state.

Elegant rhythm class is inspired by Attila’s 5 years of folk-dance education at the Budapest Contemporary Dance Academy where he was immersed in the authentic Hungarian traditional dances. His movement vocabulary is uniquely decorative when detached from the rhythmicality and the manifestation within the forms. Attila is keen to find artistic value by integrating forms, attitude, and rhythmicality in the sense of “elegant rhythm” dance.
