Saturday 8th	MOVE IN DAY MacMillan Students Village from 11am. Come and meet your SU team while you’re moving in, to collect or buy your freshers wristbands and get your free freshers’ bag with lots of handy information and goodies. BOARD GAMES AND CHILL The Duke, From: 7pm Only a stone’s throw from halls, this is a pub you’ll spend a lot of time in! Meet your fellow freshers over a drink, and really get to know them over a board game or two… Free to attend.

Come and meet your SU team while you’re moving in, to collect or buy your freshers wristbands and get your free freshers’ bag with lots of handy information and goodies. RAMP IT UP Laban Building, From: 5pm Food, games, live music and cheap drinks on the Laban green, followed by a DJ on the ramp. What else are you gonna do with your Sunday? Free to attend, but bring some cash for food and the bar!
Monday 10th	LET’S DRAG IT ON: DRAG NIGHT HOSTED BY CALAMITY VAIN Up the Creek Comedy Club, Doors: 7pm, Show: 8pm Back by popular demand, Calamity Vain takes to the stage with her fabulous Vainette backing singers for a drag night you won’t forget. This is a night not to be missed. Oh, and don’t forget your glitter darling. Price on the door without a wristband: £12
Tuesday 11th	FRESHERS’ FAIR Laban Building, From: 10-4pm A day chock full of societies, freebies, unions, contacts in the industry and more. Did we mention free stuff? Oh, and it’s free to attend. WALK ON THE WILD SIDE: PUB CRAWL Starting at the Laban Ramp, From: 6pm Welcome to the jungle! Bet you never imagined heading out on safari in Greenwich… well, now you can! Channel your inner spirit animal by wearing: Zebra, Cheetah, Leopard, Panda, Snake, Giraffe, anything fuzzy, furry, or fluffy and everything in between… Or shake things up by coming as a zookeeper! With a free drink upon arrival, games, competitions, challenges and drinks deals all night, this pub crawl promises to be the wildest one yet (pun definitely intended)! Wednesday 12th	JAZZ JAM The Duke, From: 7:30pm Whether you’re on the jazz course or not this is a great night with Trinity Laban students and alumni getting jazzy. Feel free to bring instruments and get involved. Free to attend.
Thursday 13th	BACK TO SCHOOL: UV SILENT DISCO Studio Theatre, Laban Building, 8pm Now we’re taking you back to school, and everyone is being sent to detention – only this one has alcohol! You and your new housemates got different music tastes? No worries! With 3 channels of music, there’s something for everyone! School fancy dress is absolutely a must. There’ll be tons of UV giveaways too. Price on the door without a wristband: £12
Friday 14th	WELCOME TO THE BIG SMOKE The Duke, 8pm Join us for a night with Trinity Laban’s own Big Smoke Brass! Featuring pop and funk classics, don’t forget to bring your dancing shoes because there’ll be no standing still with these boys around. Free to attend.
Saturday 15th	Wristband holders get FREE ENTRY to The Venue in New Cross!
Sunday 16th	COME & PLAY Venue TBC. Orchestra from 10-12noon, Singers 12.15-2.15pm, Put it all together from 2.30pm. A first for our freshers’, by popular demand we will perform excerpts from Verdi’s Requiem. Conducted by the one and only Jonathan Mann (he’s the Sir Charles Mackerras Conducting Fellow, don’t you know!). Come and join our scratch orchestra and choir. Absolutely everyone can attend (there are no limits), sign-up quick to ensure you get the part you want! £3 upon sign-up. Wristband holders will have access to early sign-up. LIVE BAND KARAOKE The Bar Downstairs, From: 7pm Karaoke backing tracks are so not conservatoire. Come and perform your favourite songs with Sam Jewison’s live band instead. We’ve got sheet music at the ready, but feel free to bring your own too. Price on the door without a wristband: £5
Monday 17th	POSTGRADUATE COCKTAILS The Bar Downstairs, From 7:30pm Meet your fellow Postgraduate padres. It might not be a swanky bar, but who wants to pay £9 for a cocktail? Free to attend.
Tuesday 18th	THE BOAT PARTY The Bar Downstairs, Drinks reception: 6pm. Greenwich Pier Boat departs: 7pm A swanky boat party along the Thames with live music and a free drinks reception beforehand. A freshers’ favourite this event has been featured for years. London may not be Miami, but attending this sophisticated event it sure will feel like it. This event has sold out for the past 5 years! Wednesday 19th	HANGOVER YOGA Class 1: 11:30-12:30 Class 2: 12:30-1:30 Stretch out your weary legs and beat your hangover with a yoga class to cleanse your soul. £4 – limited availability. QUIZ NIGHT The Bar Downstairs, Doors: 6pm, Quiz: 7pm It might not be crazy, but everyone needs a night-off right? Come test if you’ve got any brain cells left after last week’s frivolity. Thursday 20th	SALSA NIGHT Venue TBC, From: 8pm Come and sashay down to Little Nan’s in Deptford, for a night to remember. With live music from Trinity Laban’s own in-house salsa band, and a beginner’s guide to salsa dancing with our very President of Dance, let’s see those hips in action! Price on the door without a wristband: £10
Friday 21st	A DAY IN THE LIFE OF TRINITY LABAN Laban Theatre. From 7pm. Drinks afterwards at The Duke. Trinity Laban invites new and returning students to come and enjoy a spectacular showcase of artistic activity from our community, celebrating the start of the year by sharing what we do best! This year’s performance highlights include: opera, new choreography, chamber music collaborations, jazz, folk music, shapeshifter ensemble, dance improvisations, new compositions and musical theatre orchestra. Free, but must get tickets from Laban Box Office.

Sunday 23rd	SECRET ~~cinema~~ TRINEMA NIGHT Laban Studio Theatre, from 7pm, film at 7.30pm We’re keeping this one under our hats for now, but we’ll be releasing the film a week before to let you scrabble around in your wardrobe for an outfit.
