Are you interested in getting involved in the student union but hesitant about running for an officer position? Fear not! Applying for the Sub-Team is a great way to get involved and make a difference without the pressure of campaigning or an election process. This opportunity is open to all students, regardless of their school year or level of involvement in the student union.
We are looking for 3 members of the TL Community to join us on TLSU as part of the Sub-Team. These members would be there to lend a hand to the officers and help them fulfil their duties and manifesto goals as well as representing the students of your departments.

The Sub-TeamDon’t feel like you can commit as much to the SU but still want to be involved? The Sub-Team is perfect for you. The Sub-Team are unelected positions which you can apply for post-election where you can express why you want to help on the SU team. We are looking for 4 people to join us!
For the Sub-Team positions, you could see yourself doing a variety of roles, for supporting officers achieve their manifesto aims and getting student feedback from various TL experiences, to supporting the running of events and working on all the social elements of the union!
Sub-Team Representatives are voluntary positions but are eligible for a performance-based honorarium every term. This is £100 for all positions.

Applications are open from Monday 16th June at 9am and close on the 20th at 5pm and you can submit an application of no more than 200 words to apply for a position on the SU Sub-Team. You’ve got until Friday the 31st October @ 5pm to submit everything and apply for a position on the Sub-Team!
Late entries may not be accepted, and is at the discretion of the returning officer.
