Extraordinary General Meeting
The Trinity Laban Students’ Union Executive Team have called an Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM), and all students are invited to attend.
This meeting gives you the opportunity to hear about and vote on proposed updates to the TLSU Constitution that will help shape how your Students’ Union operates in the future.
The EGM will take place on:
Tuesday 10 March
5:30pm
KCC Undercroft (The Bar Downstairs)
or online via Teams
The first 10 students to arrive in person will receive a free drink of their choice from the bar. |

What is an EGM?
An Extraordinary General Meeting is similar to the Annual General Meeting held each year, but takes place when important decisions or constitutional changes need student approval outside of the usual timetable. |

Why is the meeting taking place?
The Executive Team are proposing updates to the TLSU Constitution ahead of upcoming elections and as part of ongoing work to strengthen and develop the Students’ Union for the future.
These proposals aim to support the long-term sustainability of TLSU, including work towards becoming a registered charity, as well as improving clarity within the Union’s governing documents. |

What is being proposed?
A number of constitutional updates will be presented, including:
- Changes designed to support the future structure and security of the Students’ Union
- Updates to wording and processes to improve clarity and consistency

How will voting take place?
Proposed changes will be presented during the meeting, followed by an opportunity for discussion before votes are held.
Students attending both in person and via Teams will be able to vote. Decisions will be made by majority vote. |

All Trinity Laban students are welcome and strongly encouraged to attend. |
